Postalytics Feb 2026 UI Refresh and Figma Integration

As Postalytics has grown over the years, we have been consistently adding new features and capabilities into the platform. As the pace of these changes accelerates in 2026, we’ve run into the limits of what can be done with the User Interface (UI) framework that we’ve been working with since our launch in 2017.

Our longstanding goal is to remove friction associated with the direct mail marketing process. With that in mind, along with many planned new capabilities we intend to add to the platform in the coming months, we’ve decided to make a major overhaul of the Postalytics user interface. The goals of the overhaul include:

  • Creating a scalable menu architecture that enables continued growth of features and capabilities
  • Improving the ability for users to quickly access the features they need without having to hunt and peck through layers of menus
  • Modernize the user interface to be more consistent with other software apps, thus creating a more intuitive way for users to navigate through the platform

In addition to the UI refresh, we’re also excited to announce the launch of our new Figma design integration. This new integration will enable designers to get more done more quickly and efficiently, thus reducing the friction associated with the direct mail design process.

What’s Changed?

Several key elements of the Postalytics user interface have been enhanced with this update. We’ve moved the primary menu navigation to the left hand side of the app, have reorganized several features into logical new menu items, and have cleaned up the drop down menu under the username to reflect typical functions that you’d find there in modern SaaS applications.

Overview Video

Here’s a quick overview video that describes the changes at a high level:

Left Side Primary Menu Navigation

Most importantly, the primary menu navigation has moved from the top of the app to the left side. This, combined with the ability to expand and collapse the menu, and dynamically appearing sub-menu selections, gives the user much more screen real estate to use to work within Postalytics.

Agency Edition UI Refresh

For Agency Edition Customers, we’ve also made some substantial changes to the user interface. Client account or Subaccount users should read on here, as the client account is essentially the same as a Postalytics main application account. The changes that are available to the Agency Edition Admin portal can be reviewed in more detail with this article.

New Menu Selections

While the top items on the left menu navigation remain the same (Home, Lists, Creative & Campaigns), we’ve added four new menu items. These new items are logical collections of features that were buried deeper in the Postalytics app, yet are regularly accessed. Now, users can quickly jump to these parts of Postalytics without having to remember where they are and navigate multiple menus.

Reports

Rather than the Postalytics reporting features scattered throughout the app, we’ve pulled them together into a single menu item. Now, you can access the Campaign Events, Transactions and Activity Log reports instantly from anywhere in the app.

Direct Mail Credits

Previously, managing your direct mail credits required you to navigate to the Account menu under the username, and then navigate to the Direct Mail Credits sub-menu. Now, we’ve

  • Elevated Direct Mail Credits to the left side navigation
  • Once you’re in one of the Credits pages, you can quickly navigate to the other pages via a new top sub-menu

Integrations

Like Credits, Integrations used to be hidden in the Account menu.  Now, they’re easily accessible from anywhere in the app via the left side navigation, and you can quickly navigate to all of the integration features via the top sub-menu.

The new Integrations navigation:

Settings

The old navigation had no “Settings” as an organizational principle, despite the existence of several features that impact the entire instance of a particular user’s interaction with their Postalytics account. The features that are easily accessible via the new left side navigation were previously scattered in various menus and sub-menus.

The Account Menu

The Account Menu, which is now accessible by hovering over the username, had previously grown into an unwieldy list of far too many selections and sub-menus. Now, it is far more streamlined and logically arranged.

Template Editor Updates

The Postalytics Template Editor has been given a refresh, with the primary change revolving around toggles that provide a more expansive canvas for you to build and modify your creative templates. This is particularly important given the move of the navigation to the left side of the app. Now you can easily expand the space that you’re working on with toggles on both the left and right side of the editor.

New Editor Toggles:

These toggles come in particularly handy when using a smaller laptop screen to edit templates. Here’s a view of the same template as above, this time on a 13 inch laptop screen with the toggles collapsing the side editor menus:

Figma Direct Mail Automation Integration

In addition to the overall UI update, we’re also excited to announce the launch of our integration with Figma, a leading design platform. Figma has exploded in popularity over the past few years, with estimates of design software market share in excess of 40% according to recent research. Figma’s explosive growth is due to the fact that it is a cloud-based, collaborative design platform, with an easy-to-use free version that designers love. Contrast this with many of the traditional direct mail design tools that have been around for decades and are file-based, siloed and generate static images, and you can see why it’s become so popular.

The Figma integration represents our continued effort to enable designers to work with the tools that they’re most familiar with while incorporating as much of the powerful direct mail specific features as possible in those tools.

You can find the Postalytics Figma direct mail integration by searching for Postalytics in the Figma plugin community or by clicking this link.

Postalytics Figma Integration Help Document

We’ve updated our Knowledgebase to include an article that describes the Figma direct mail integration in more detail. Check out the new Figma integration help guide here.

How Does the Postalytics Figma Integration Work?

The new Postalytics Figma Integration simplifies the bridge between digital design and professional direct mail by bringing our mailer templates directly into your Figma workspace.

The goal of this integration is simple: Eliminate the guesswork. Instead of manually setting up canvases and worrying about print specifications, you can use the Postalytics plugin to generate “press-ready” creative templates, with Postalytics Variable Data fully supported. Once your design is complete, you’ll have a formatted asset ready to be uploaded into the Postalytics app for automated mailing.

The Workflow at a Glance

  1. Launch: Utilize the Postalytics plugin within the Figma application.
  2. Generate: Choose your mailer format to instantly create a frame with the correct dimensions and bleed zones.
  3. Design: Use Figma’s powerful tools to create your template within our pre-set guides.
  4. Export & Upload: Finalize your design and upload it to the Postalytics web app to proof and then launch your campaign.

Why Use the Postalytics Plugin for Your Designs?

  • Insert Variable Data fields from Postalytics while working in Figma. Figma has a “plug-in” architecture for integrations that enables Postalytics to incorporate more features into the Figma design interface than other design tools allow. By incorporating Postalytics Variable Data elements directly in Figma, designers are able to greatly simplify the process of layering personalization into their direct mail templates.
  • Generate Native Postalytics Templates that can be edited in the Postalytics Template Editor. Unlike other design tools that only export static images, the Figma direct mail integration will generate templates that are editable in the Postalytics Template Editor. So, instead of having to go back to the design tool to make small modifications in text or variable data, you can edit these items directly in the editor, speeding up the proofing and editing process significantly.
  • Native Dimensions & Specifications: Skip the “Specs” page. The plugin instantly creates Figma frames with the exact width, height, and 0.125″ bleed required for our high-speed presses.
  • Visual Guardrails: Every template includes non-printing guides for Safe Zones and Postal Clearing Areas. You’ll know exactly where it is safe to design and where the postage and barcodes will live.
  • Reduced Upload Friction: By starting with our official templates, you ensure your file resolution and aspect ratios are optimized, eliminating the common formatting errors that occur during the manual upload process.

What’s Next in the Product Roadmap?

You’ll be seeing many more updates coming out in the coming months, including:

  • More Agency Edition features and controls
  • More user interface and user experience improvements
  • Website anonymous visitor retargeting
  • More mailing formats
  • More native reporting tools and features

We work closely with customers who are interested in taking an active role in the future of Postalytics, so please reach out to us with any thoughts or ideas you have to make Postalytics a better product!

Figma Direct Mail Integration FAQ’s

What is the Postalytics Figma integration?

The Postalytics Figma integration is a native Figma plugin that allows designers and marketers to create press-ready direct mail templates directly inside Figma. The plugin generates mailer frames with the correct dimensions, bleed, safe zones, and postal clearance areas—so your designs are automatically aligned with Postalytics’ production requirements. Once complete, designs can be exported directly into the Postalytics platform for proofing and automated mailing.

Can I design personalized direct mail with variable data in Figma?

Yes. The Postalytics Figma plugin lets you insert Postalytics variable data fields directly into your Figma designs. This makes it easy to design personalized direct mail—such as names, company details, or custom messaging—while you’re still in the creative process. Variable data remains editable after export, allowing you to preview, proof, and test personalization before launching a campaign.

How does the Figma integration ensure my direct mail is print-ready?

The integration eliminates common print setup errors by automatically applying native print specifications, including exact trim size, 0.125” bleed, safe zones, and postage areas. When exporting, the plugin renders designs at 300 DPI, optimizes color profiles, and prepares files for high-speed digital printing—reducing back-and-forth, failed uploads, and production delays.

How do I export a Figma design into Postalytics?

After completing your design, you can export it without leaving the Figma desktop app. The plugin packages your selected frames and uploads them directly into your Postalytics Template Library and/or the Asset Manager. From there, you can fine-tune elements, add QR codes or pURLs, proof with real data, and activate the template in Smart Send, Triggered Drip, ACH or Flows campaigns.

Who should use the Postalytics Figma integration?

The Postalytics Figma integration is ideal for designers, marketers, agencies, and nonprofits who want to streamline direct mail production. It’s especially valuable for teams that already design in Figma and want a faster, more reliable way to turn digital designs into automated, personalized direct mail—without learning new tools or worrying about print specs.
